You can find a pool table in the saloon, a room full of interesting photos and memorabilia scattered about. You can find the saloon, incidentally, right next to the shit house.

Being in the centre of town, Cactus Jacks Backpackers is the perfect spot to base yourself close to clubs, bars, cafés and restaurants, there are many cultural shows and Hangi feasts about town. A Hangi is a traditional Maori meal buried in an earthen oven giving the meat and vegetables distinctive smoky flavour – a must do for any visitor to Rotorua.
