Welcome to Cactus Jacks Backpackers - Rotorua's best themed backpackers where our motto is “Mi Casa, Su Casa!”
Cactus Jacks Backpackers is centered around a fun-filled Tex-Mex theme, full of memorabilia - and the buildings are fully decked out as jail houses, saloons, and even a “red light district” belonging to a fictitious Madam Fifi!
There are dorms, single, twin and double rooms available and all rooms apart from the dorms have fully made-up beds for a comfortable siesta.
A full range of facilities are available including a sunny courtyard with BBQ area, a large fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, laundry, internet, spa pool and various entertainment areas.
Cactus Jacks Backpackers is centrally located in Rotorua and only a few minutes' walk to the Tourist Information Centre, bus station, shops, restaurants, cafes, clubs and bars.
Cactus Jacks can also assist you with ticketing and booking tourist activities in the area. You can leave your valuables in a safe at our reception so you can venture out and explore the vibrant city of Rotorua, meet up with other sénors and sénoritas and go loco!
